SinoScience FullCryo Participates in the 2025 China Helium Industry Innovation and Development Forum
On December 4–5, the “2025 China Helium Industry Innovation and Development Forum & China Helium Industry Chain Co-action” was held in Hangzhou, hosted by the China Industrial Gas Industry Association (CIGA) and the China Helium Industry Innovation and Development Committee. The forum brought together government officials, industry experts, and corporate representatives to conduct in-depth discussions on high-quality development of China’s helium industry, helium platform construction, and large-scale domestic helium resource applications. The event focused on domestic and international helium market trends and technological equipment development. Nearly 200 experts and scholars from more than 80 institutions, including relevant ministries, industry organizations, and specialized universities, participated. Zhongke Fuhai Technology Co., Ltd. was invited to attend the forum.

As a non-renewable strategic rare gas, helium is often referred to as the “lifeblood” of modern advanced technology and national defense industries. Building independently controllable, large-scale industrial helium liquefiers is key infrastructure to ensure the security of China’s helium supply chain and support major scientific projects and future industrial development. Helium Liquefaction is essential for efficient storage, long-distance transportation, and terminal applications of helium, serving as a bridge between scarce helium resources and cutting-edge technological applications. The liquefaction process spans the entire helium industrial chain, including production, storage, transportation, and application.
Zhongke Fuhai has focused on large-scale cryogenic equipment and, for the first time domestically, successfully integrated series of Helium Refrigeration and liquefaction devices with capacities of40L/h, 70L/h, 400W, 500W, 850W, 1kW, 2kW, and 4kW, achieving successful engineering applications. The company delivered a 280L/h helium liquefier to the China National Petroleum Corporation’s Jinqiu Gas Field project site, which is now in commissioning; a 300L/h helium liquefier has been successfully applied in a helium extraction demonstration project, operating continuously for over 24 months. The first fully domestic megawatt-level helium liquefaction system, designed by the Institute of Physics and integrated by Zhongke Fuhai, achieved a liquefaction rate of 3,377.7 L/h, becoming the largest single-unit helium liquefier in China. It will serve major national scientific infrastructure, such as accelerator-driven transmutation research devices, providing low-temperature environments for nuclear waste processing.
During the forum, the China Industrial Gas Association released the Top Ten Achievements of China’s Helium Industry Chain. Zhongke Fuhai’s independently developed low-temperature neon-removal helium purifier was selected as one of the top ten industry achievements. At the same time, Zhongke Fuhai’s President, Gao Jinlin, signed a helium liquefaction project agreement with representatives from the Southwest Oil & Gas Field Materials Branch of China National Petroleum Corporation.

Zhao Guangming, Vice President of Zhongke Fuhai Technology Co., Ltd., delivered a keynote report titled “Practice of Large-Scale Helium Liquefaction Upgrades Based on Helium Extraction”, providing a comprehensive introduction to industry trends, domestic and international development, core technologies, and demonstration project progress. The presentation drew wide attention from the attending guests.

China, as one of the world’s largest helium consumers, considers helium a critical resource for national energy security, technological advancement, and industrial chain safety. Helium liquefaction reduces transportation costs, improves logistics efficiency, and directly promotes large-scale international liquid helium trade, establishing a diversified supply system. Liquid helium supports national strategic high-tech fields such as superconductivity, quantum computing, and aerospace. Leveraging its expertise in large-scale hydrogen-helium cryogenic equipment and industry applications, Zhongke Fuhai has built a complete helium resource industry chain encompassing natural gas helium extraction, recovery, purification, liquefaction, distribution, and applications. This not only breaks foreign technological monopolies and achieves domestic helium self-sufficiency, reducing long-term import dependency, but also pioneers commercial helium extraction routes suited to China’s national conditions, offering significant social and market value. Looking ahead, Zhongke Fuhai will continue to focus on helium extraction, providing critical support for China’s helium self-supply and related industry development.
