Staying True to the Original Aspiration, Building Lasting Partnerships Through Win-Win Cooperation

Recently, Lanzhou Taiji Ion Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Lanzhou Taiji”) awarded Fullcryo (hereinafter referred to as “Fullcryo”) the title of “Outstanding Partner.” This honor represents strong recognition of the long-term close collaboration between the two companies and stands as powerful proof of their relationship built on mutual trust, shared success, and coordinated progress. It also lays a solid foundation for further deepening cooperation and expanding value creation in the future.

As a leading enterprise in China’s ion radiation therapy field, Lanzhou Taiji has been committed to innovation and industrialization of heavy-ion therapy technology since its establishment in 2002. It is a high-tech enterprise under Guoke Ion and one of the very few companies in China possessing full qualifications and comprehensive capabilities for medical heavy-ion accelerators. The company has taken the lead in establishing the Gansu Ion Radiation Therapy Technology Innovation Consortium and has achieved multiple breakthrough research results in key areas such as miniaturized heavy-ion therapy systems, Flash therapy technology, superconducting magnets, and 5G-based remote operation and maintenance platforms, continuously driving technological advancement in the industry.

Fullcryo’s recognition as an “Outstanding Partner” stems from the strong synergy and seamless collaboration between the two parties since the beginning of their cooperation. In particular, Fullcryo’s large-scale Cryogenic Refrigeration Systems have demonstrated strong technical capability and reliable support throughout project implementation.

Heavy-ion beam therapy has become a frontier technology in cancer treatment due to its precise dose distribution, minimal damage to healthy tissue, shorter treatment cycles, and high cure rates. Behind these advantages lies the stable operation of superconducting magnets, which depend on Helium Cryocoolers to maintain extremely low temperatures.

The helium cryocooler custom-developed by Fullcryo for Lanzhou Taiji was engineered and optimized according to the system requirements of miniaturized heavy-ion therapy devices. It provides stable and continuous 4.5K cooling capacity for the superconducting magnet system, ensuring that the magnets operate in a highly reliable superconducting state. This solution effectively supports the trend toward equipment miniaturization and system integration while ensuring the continuity, safety, and operational efficiency of the treatment process. It has become a crucial element supporting technological collaboration and successful engineering implementation between the two partners.

As an industrialization platform incubated from the core technologies of the Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Fullcryo has carried the mission of achieving the localization and commercialization of large-scale cryogenic refrigeration technology since its establishment. Over the past decade, the company has focused on the 2K–20K ultra-low-temperature field, inheriting and advancing proprietary core technologies with independent intellectual property rights. Fullcryo has successfully built a comprehensive product portfolio of large-scale cryocoolers ranging from hundreds of watts to multi-megawatt levels, which are widely used in aerospace, large-scale scientific projects, green energy, helium resource development, high-end manufacturing, and other strategic sectors of national importance. These achievements have effectively broken the long-standing foreign technological monopoly and enabled independent and controllable domestic production of high-end cryogenic equipment.

The “Outstanding Partner” award represents Lanzhou Taiji’s full recognition of Fullcryo’s technological strength, product quality, and service capability. It also marks a new starting point for deeper cooperation between the two companies. Looking ahead, Fullcryo will transform this trust and recognition into motivation for continuous progress. The company will continue to strengthen its core technology research and development, enhance the competitiveness of its products and services, and work hand in hand with Lanzhou Taiji to contribute to the high-quality development of China’s ion technology applications and cryogenic equipment industry—creating more chapters of mutually beneficial cooperation in the years to come.
