The 850W@4.5K Helium Refrigerator Unit Was Successfully Debugged
The 850W@4.5K Helium Refrigerator provided by Fullcryo for the Southern Light Source research and test platform was successfully debugged at the project site in 2022. In the refrigeration mode, the helium refrigerator was measured for stable operation for 24 hours, and the measured cooling capacity reached 875W@4.5K ; in the liquefaction mode, the measured helium liquefaction rate reached 325L/h; the unit energy consumption of the entire system (1 /COP) is less than 380W/W. At the same time, the device also conducted an operation assessment in the mixed mode of refrigeration and liquefaction. While the cooling capacity is 300W@4.5K, the liquefaction rate reaches 250L/h. The test results show that all performance and technical indicators of this domestically produced helium refrigeration device are better than the design values. The complete set of helium refrigeration equipment developed by Fullcryo was successfully debugged, providing strong technical support for the vertical and horizontal testing of superconducting cavities in the 2K temperature zone. After years of development, Fullcryo has successively provided more than ten sets of large-scale cryogenic refrigeration equipment, fully occupying the domestic market, and realizing the export of domestically produced equipment.
