Ningxia Yanchi liquefied natural gas BOG helium extraction project

◆ -200 °C cryogenic distillation separation and negative pressure liquid nitrogen cooling process.

◆ Development of all-aluminum plate fin heat exchanger with ultra-low leakage rate.

◆ Precise catalytic dehydrogenation control system to ensure hydrogen content below 1PPM.

◆ Based on the internal purification Helium Liquefaction System, more than 90% pure helium is purified by condensation.

FULLCRYO and Ningxia Deep Combustion Zhongyuan Co.,Ltd. jointly developed and built the first set of LNG-BOG low temperature helium extraction device in Ningxia Yanchi, and opened the whole process of BOG helium extraction in 2020, successfully produced Liquid Helium products, meeting the design requirements. The unit has a BOG capacity of approximately 600Nm³/h, produces approximately 400L/D of liquid helium products, and has an annual capacity of 120,000L. The demonstration device has passed the technical achievement appraisal of academician expert committee. Since the full line of BOG helium extraction process was opened on July 21, 2020, the helium liquefaction unit has operated for more than 10,000 hours, and has continued to produce qualified liquid helium products.
